June 2008. A 3 gig month...nice! Probably one of the bands favorite gigs to date on the 7th June a real stonker at Wheatsheaf in Leighton Buzzard. Great venue, great people can't wait till we there again. Hope the woman that fell over is ok? OUCH! Private party followed this gig at Ketterings Wickstead Park... Then a much deserved weekend off then another great gig at Raunds Football club. June also saw the introduction of 2 new songs so makesure you come and check out the new songs soon. On top of this we have had the 2 lots of bad news, first Colin on trombone has a new wireless mic, theres not much more dangerous than an untethered bone player are any of us safe? On a more serious note, June has seen Will hand in his notice on Tenor Sax. Needing to concentrate on his original material rock band 'Barkerhound' good luck with hitting the big time, it goes without saying that you will be missed by all members of the band. He will be with us until atleast the end of August, while we try to find a replacement. May 2008 May has been a strange old Month, 3 gigs in 3 days in the first week of the month. After a fantastic gig at Stanwick Club on the Friday and forced lineup change on the Saturday for a private function in Coventry (Thanks to Wayne for filling in on Bass who ever you were, as I never met you) The weekend was rounded off on the Sunday night at Kelmarsh Hall playing for the Sealed Knot. I could only describe the Sealed Knot as barking mad, fantastic night hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. Looking forward to gigging again at the end of the month after a 3 week break for holidays etc.... Harlequin was a cool gig fairly relaxed breaking us back in from a nice little break, nice to see some old faces. Well another month draws to a close, and already looking forward to gigging June. We'll being welcoming Gav back to our bosum for the next gig after his holiday in Cos, never quite the same without him. If we learnt one thing from this last gig, it would be not to give Jono the camera to take any photo's I'll label which ones he took if you're unsure. Although I'm sure he'll blame it on a faulty camerma.... hmmmm. April 2008 This has been a typical busy month for the 2 tones. 5 great gigs, including The Romany, where we had a stand in drummer Keith Hogan who stood in at short notice and did a top job, so many thanks to Keith for that, I'm sure we'll call on his services again. Friday, Saturday gigs to finish the month off with 2 blinding gigs. Thanks to everone that came along, hope you enjoyed your selves. Just hope Stanwick Club, get some air con fitted soon. Dam that was hot! Many thanks to all the venues and people that support us and help keep live music venues in the Midlands.
